Outspoken. LGBTQ Historian and Founder of Lavender Graduation: Dr. Ronni Sanlo

Director Emeritus of the UCLA LGBT Center, Author, Historian and Playwright Dr. Ronnie Sanlo talks about her accomplishments in inspiration, activism, and preservation of the community’s history, and how as a newly-christened graduate with a Doctorate, she founded the first Lavender Graduation at the University of Michigan and today there are as many of 800 campuses hosting these events that show their LGBTQ students just how much they value their academic accomplishments and their diversity. Learn about how this came about in 1994 as well as many other fascinating things from Dr. Sanlo’s storied life and career.
